Four artists. Twenty images each. Six minutes to tell a story.

Pentlands Open Studios brings a new selection of its artists back to the Pentlands Book Festival for an evening of fast-paced, visually rich talks.

Each of our four professional artists will present 20 images, automatically advancing every 20 seconds. That gives each speaker just over six minutes to tell their story, with the pictures doing much of the talking. Questions follow immediately after each presentation.

It’s a lively, engaging way to hear directly from artists about their work, creative processes and inspirations. Expect fascinating insights, unexpected perspectives and, if previous events are anything to go by, a good dose of humour too!
