Gen is interested in memory and the immediacy and ephemeral nature of print. Letterpress, analogue working and DIY processes are core to her creative output. Structure, sequence, and content inform the inky joy of words, play and making. Its purpose is to encourage connections, interaction, thought and sometimes a smile.

Whilst continuing her artistic practice, Gen supports others to do the same by running workshops and development days from her studio or out in the community.
