Helga Chart works from sketch books and primary sources. The crucial process of transferring this material takes place in the studio where she has access to various papers print material and mixed media. Experimentation and a free approach bring bring joy to all this hard work.

Helga trained at Edinburgh College of Art and taught at Edinburgh’s Telford college. She is an active member of the Royal Scottish society of painters in watercolour, and the Royal Watercolour Society based in London. Her work is held in many public and private collection at home and abroad.
