Jacqueline Watt

Jacqueline Watt is an established Scottish painter who exhibits both nationally and internationally with work in various public, corporate and private collections. The recipient of numerous awards, residencies and commissions, her paintings are strong, expressive, and offer a unique sense of colour.

Her extensive teaching career includes almost twenty years as painting tutor at Leith School of Art, the Scottish organiser of The Open College of The Arts, and visiting lectureships for The Open University and Sir John Soanes Museum.

Jacqueline is steeped in the rich, Scottish tradition of direct, observational drawing and painting, and influenced by places visited.
