
Jacqueline is an established Scottish painter who exhibits both nationally and internationally with work in various public, corporate and private collections. A former Vice President of Visual Arts Scotland (VAS) and the recipient of numerous awards, residencies and commissions, her paintings are strong, expressive, and offer a unique sense of colour.
Her extensive teaching career includes twenty years as drawing and painting lecturer at Leith School of Art, the Scottish organiser of The Open College of The Arts, and visiting lectureships for The Open University and Sir John Soanes Museum, London. She has also run numerous inspirational drawing and painting workshops and tutorial courses.
A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art in the early 1970’s, Jacqueline is steeped in the rich, Scottish tradition of direct, observational drawing and painting, and influenced by places visited over many years.
