Liza works with a variety of mixed media textiles and paper, using dyes, prints and mark making techniques and produces both two and three dimensional pieces, and artist books. Recent work has focussed on the source of the Bonaly/Braid burn and the landscape and beaches of East Lothian.

She was a prize winner at the Visual Arts Scotland centenary exhibition at the end of 2025, and her work has been selected for the Visual Arts Scotland members exhibition March – May 2026, she also shows her work with Upright Gallery, Edinburgh, and one of her books has recently been acquired by Edinburgh College library.

Liza has an Advanced Diploma in Textiles, is a professional member of Visual Arts Scotland and a member of Bound : Unbound artist book collective.
