Soosan graduated from Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh University with a BA in Art & Design. She is an award-winning artist. She is a Professional Member of the Society of Scottish Artists. Her work has been presented at several shows at the RSA Open, SSA, VAS and RGI. It has also been showcased in group exhibitions and private collections both nationally and internationally.

As a painter, she is inspired by nature. She has a new way of looking at the Scottish landscape, with architectural and emotional responses to memory of places. Colour and line are the main feature in Soosan’s work. Her palette with earthy pigments is highly recognisable. She creates abstract compositions that appeal to both emotion and the senses, by minimising the suggestion of elements that divide the landscape and maximising the presence of colour.
