Susie Wilson is a visual artist specialising in the making of artists’ books (and associated objects). Her work uses print, drawing, book-works and installation, and often centres around those forces which shape our physical and emotional landscapes, with a particular focus on memory and the traces we leave. The conceptual landscape of the work has recently been influenced by the Fluxus movement of the 1960s, and, in particular by their ‘Flux kits’ – boxed works which were designed to be interactive, playful, witty, and portable.
Wilson is part of a collective, bound:unbound, a group of artists from different disciplines who have a common interest in the book form. Their most recent exhibition On the Same Page was at Upright Gallery in Edinburgh in 2025.
